AI breakdown desk for fleets

Every breakdown handled, until the truck is rolling.

Drivers call or text one number. RoadDesk triages the problem, calls your approved vendors at the same time, gets the repair approved within your rules, and tracks it to the finish, 24 hours a day.

Pilots start with tire breakdowns. Your vendors, your rules, and we never touch repair money.

The problem

Your breakdown desk is a phone that never stops ringing

Every roadside call pulls a manager or dispatcher off their real job, and the truck earns nothing while it waits.

Breakdowns don't keep office hours

A blown tire at 2 a.m. means a manager's phone rings, someone wakes up, and the driver waits while they find a laptop.

Calling shops one at a time

Phone menus, hold music, no-answers, and voicemail. Every shop that doesn't pick up adds time the truck sits on the shoulder.

No one is tracking the repair

Once a vendor is booked, updates go quiet. Drivers, dispatch, and ops all chase the same ETA separately.

Invoices drift from the quote

The final bill shows up days later, and nobody has time to check it against what was agreed on the phone.

How it works

From breakdown to back on the road in four steps

RoadDesk runs the whole case so your team only steps in when you want them to.

  1. 1

Driver calls or texts one number

The agent identifies the driver and truck, confirms the location, and asks what happened, with photos by text if they help. Anything unsafe goes straight to your on-call manager.

Coming soonGPS and fault codes from telematics

  2. 2

Your vendors are called at the same time

RoadDesk calls 3–5 of your approved vendors near the truck in parallel and compares ETA, price, and whether they have the right tire or part.

  3. 3

    Approved within your rules

Repairs under your limit are auto-approved. Anything over it goes to a manager by text with the quotes attached. No reply in time? It escalates to your backup.

  4. 4

    Tracked until it's rolling

The agent follows up with the vendor and driver and keeps ops updated until the driver confirms the truck is back on the road.

Controls

The agent works inside your rules

You decide how much it can approve, who it calls, and when a person takes over. Change any rule from the dashboard at any time.

Approval limits

Set the dollar amount the agent can approve on its own. Everything above it needs a manager.

Your vendors, your rates

Upload your shops, tire vendors, tow companies, negotiated rates, and national accounts. Mark preferred vendors.

Escalation by time of day

Choose who gets the call or text on days, nights, and weekends, plus a backup if they don't answer.

What the agent handles alone

Decide which cases the agent runs end to end. Pilots start with tire breakdowns.

Coming soonMechanical, electrical, and tow triage

Safety always goes to a person

Accidents, injuries, fire, hazmat, or an unsafe location trigger an immediate warm transfer to your on-call manager.

Every step on the record

Each case has a full timeline of calls, texts, quotes, and approvals, with weekly reports on downtime and spend.

FAQ

Questions fleets ask us

Are you a roadside assistance service?

No. RoadDesk is software. You keep your own vendors and pay them directly, the same way you do today. We never touch repair money.

What kinds of breakdowns can RoadDesk handle?

Pilots start with tire breakdowns. Mechanical, electrical, and tow triage are coming soon. Until then, anything outside tire cases goes to your team.

What happens if a driver is in danger?

Accidents, injuries, fire, hazmat, or an unsafe location trigger an immediate warm transfer to your on-call manager. The agent doesn't try to handle emergencies on its own.

Do our vendors need to sign up for anything?

No. The agent calls your vendors like a dispatcher would. The selected shop gets a confirmation with the truck, location, case number, and approved amount, and the others get a polite "no longer needed."

What if a manager doesn't answer an approval text?

You set how long the agent waits. If there's no reply in that window, the request goes to your backup contact.

How long does setup take?

About 30 minutes. Add trucks by hand or by CSV, add drivers and your vendor list, set your rules, and share your hotline number. Telematics connections (Samsara, Motive, and Geotab) are coming soon.

What's included in the per-truck price?

Self-serve plans include about one breakdown per truck per month, with a $500 monthly minimum. Extra events are $25 each.

We run hundreds of trucks. Can we start smaller?

Yes. Larger fleets typically start with a paid pilot on one business unit and shift. The agent can run in shadow mode first, where it recommends and your team acts, before moving to assisted and full coverage.

Put RoadDesk on your next breakdown.

Pilots start with tire breakdowns on one location or one shift. Bring your truck list and vendor list, set your approval limit, and hand your drivers a single number to call.
